USA – Lake Shannon, Washington

Lake Shannon is a narrow reservoir on the Baker River in Washington, United States of America. Constructed in the 1920s above the town of Concrete, the lake covers approximately 886 hectares when full. Located just outside the western boundary of North Cascades National Park, Lake Shannon serves as the lower reservoir for Puget Sound Energy's Baker River Hydroelectric Project.
Triton was contracted by Puget Sound Energy Ltd. to clear area of submerged forest using one SAWFISH™ to permit the installation of a fish gulper to further aid with the upstream migration of salmon in the Baker River.
The project last roughly a month and employed 3 Triton staff and 3 local hires to assist with the logistics of the project.
