
DAVID BENKE
General Manager
David Behnke is General Manager of Triton Resources, Inc., a position he has held since 2015. Mr. Behnke brings to Triton extensive investment, management, and financial market experience. From 2006 through 2019, Mr. Behnke was the Managing Director and Head of United States Investments at Najeti Ventures LLC, a private equity firm investing in lower middle market companies in the consumer/retail, industrial products, distribution, and energy/clean technology sectors. Prior to that, he worked for JP Morgan for 22 years (1980-2002), where as a Managing Director he headed a variety of divisions including the Private Sale Advisory Group, which provided merger and acquisition advice to privately held companies, and the Global Power Group, which provided financing and advisory services to the electric utility industry worldwide. He has served on the boards of Triton Resources (Chairman and CEO), Deep River Snacks, Annie’s, MVP (Chairman), DataPath (Executive Committee), Direct Fuels, and Prestolite Electric. At Najeti he also oversaw the investments in Floor and Décor Outlets of America and Controlled Products Systems Group. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of DataPath.
Mr. Behnke has also been very involved in environmental, artistic and animal health causes. He served on numerous not-for-profit boards including The Baker Institute for Animal Health at Cornell University (where he served as Board Chair for 12 years), the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society (Board Chair for two years), the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse, the Advisory Council of the Trustees of Reservations in Massachusetts, the Connecticut Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, the Connecticut Fund for the Environment, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, The Housatonic Valley Association, the Washington Art Association, and the Steep Rock Association Land Trust.
Mr. Behnke holds an MBA from the University of Chicago (’80), an MM from Yale University (’77) and a BA from Hamilton College (’73).

Since joining Triton in 2008 Lucas has been Triton’s lead Sawfish™ and SHARC™ operator through the design, development, testing and production phases of our harvesting equipment.
