Heath Krevesky

Planning & Certification Manager

Heath holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography from the University of Victoria and has an extensive employment and business history in the forest sector.  His experience includes more than 28 years of forestry appointments in government, industry, non-profit societies, and First Nation organizations.  His broad knowledge ranges from the operational design and layout of forest developments to co-negotiating treaty settlement agreements between First Nations, British Columbia and Canada.

Prior to joining Triton in 2011, Heath focused his career on assisting Aboriginal Communities to pursue and achieve their forestry and natural resource interests.  His responsibilities included negotiating Treaties, reviewing environmental impact assessments and development plans, examining Timber Supply Reviews and subsequent AAC determinations, developing and implementing Aboriginal land use plans, developing business partnerships, managing a variety of forest tenures and related harvesting contracts, negotiating and establishing joint venture agreements, securing funding agreements (federal and provincial), as well as leading consultation between First Nations, industry, government agencies, contractors and respective third party stakeholders.

As Triton’s Planning and Certification Manager Heath is responsible for planning, developing and certifying Triton’s global operations.  Heath is accredited under the Rainforest Alliance as a Forest Certification Assessor and is responsible for the development and delivery of Triton’s Environmental Management Plans, Operational Health and Safety Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Breakdowns and global operations training.
