Triton has owned and harvested reservoirs around the world. Locations have included reservoirs in North America, Asia, Central America, and Africa. We are now deploying our patented SHARC technology to Petit Saut in French Guiana, South America. Here, Triton shall responsibly manage and convert all harvested timber to its best end use, whether that is lumber or biomass to fulfill domestic and international markets.

Canada – Lois Lake, Powell River, BC

From 2002 to 2009 Triton harvested timber from Lois Lake as a testing and development ground for both the Sawfish and SHARC Harvesters.

NECHAKO RESERVOIR, BC

In 2005 Triton deployed our Sawfish™ harvester in the Nechako Reservoir, sometimes called the Ootsa Lake Reservoir.

KENYIR LAKE, MALAYSIA

In 2007 Triton relocated to Kenyir Lake in Malaysia. Kenyir Lake was created in 1985 by the damming of the Kenyir River and provides water to the Sultan Mahmud Power Station.

LAKE SHANNON, WASHINGTON, USA

Lake Shannon is a narrow reservoir on the Baker River in Washington, United States of America.

TUCURUI, BRAZIL

In April of 2009, Triton completed a broad assessment of the submerged fiber basket in Tucurui using a combination of satellite imagery analysis, available pre-flood forest inventory data and forest cover maps.

LAKE VOLTA, GHANA

Volta Lake in Ghana has been Triton’s most comprehensive undertaking and accomplishment to date.

GIBRALTAR MINES, WILLIAMS LAKE, BC

In September of 2012, Triton was contracted to clear corridors through flooded forests within the Gibraltar Mine’s tailings pond.

AES, BRAZIL

In November 2012 AES Brazil Group (AES) commissioned Triton, to evaluate three reservoirs owned by AES in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

JIRAU, BRAZIL

In March and July of 2013 Triton was contracted by Energia Sustentável do Brasil S.A (ESBR) to examine options to recover 173,025m3 of harvested stems and related debris from the shores of the soon to be flooded Jirau Reservoir located on the Madeira River.

BAKUN, MALAYSIA

In February of 2014, Triton was contracted by Wargana Consortium (WC), to conduct a Preliminary Field Assessment of the Bakun Reservoir. The Bakun Dam is an embankment dam located in Sarawak, Malaysia on the Balui River.

BROKOPONDO, SURINAME

In April of 2014 Triton was contracted by Brokopondo Waltra Wood Inc. (BWWI), to conduct an underwater timber assessment of the 160,000ha Brokopondo reservoir in Suriname.

WILLISTON LAKE, MACKENZIE, BC

In May of 2014 Triton was contracted by BGC Engineering Inc., to conduct an underwater survey of a portion of Williston Lake near Mackenzie, British Columbia.

GATUN LAKE, PANAMA

In October 2014 Triton was contracted by the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) to survey 5 parcels (768 hectares in total) of the reservoir that ACP was seeking to expand as anchoring locations for canal traffic.

CORUMBA III RESERVOIR, BRAZIL

In November of 2014, Triton was contracted by Consorcio Empreendedor to undertake a feasibility Study to evaluate the viability of extracting submerged timber from the Corumba III reservoir.

BAYANO LAKE, PANAMA

Between January 2015 and July 2016, Triton was contracted by CoastEco Timber Inc., to harvest the submerged forests in Bayano Lake.
